The Stepson (Film)

The Stepson (Film) Donna May (Christina Cox – Elysium) is a wife devoted to her husband Robert (Chris Potter – Heartland) and her work as a grief counselor. But when Donna’s husband Robert is mysteriously killed in a hit-and-run car accident, all Donna’s training can’t prepare her for what’s about to come.  As Donna begins to make funeral plans, her estranged stepson Kevin (Jon McLaren – House at the End of the Street) shows up on her doorstep looking to make amends.  But Kevin has no intention of making amends. He i there to take full advantage of her emotional and physical difficulties.  Kevin makes her a prisoner in her own home. Donna is frightened, weakened and completely alone – she must somehow fight to survive. Donna is awaiting Kevin’s next move, as her paranoia becomes a violent reality.

Christina completed the last of 13 episodes, as "astrobiologist Jen Crane", in the FTVS/ABC series, Defying Gravity (2009), a one-hour drama about a team of astronauts on a six-year mission in outer space.

On completion of Defying Gravity (2009), Christina guest-starred as "Zoey Kruger", a cop accused of killing her family on the 4th season of Showtime's Dexter (2006). After "Dexter", she joined the cast of the hit series, 24 (2001), as "Secret Service agent Molly O'Connor", as well as dropping by The Mentalist (2008) and filming The Stepson (2010), with Adam Beach.

Christina also guest-starred, as "Marine Gunnery Sergeant Georgia Wooten", in the NCIS(2003) episode, NCIS: Freedom (2011).

Prior to Defying Gravity (2009), she starred as "Vicki Nelson", an ex-cop turned private investigator specializing in solving supernatural crimes in 22 episodes of the Lifetime series, Blood Ties (2006).

In addition to starring in several pilots, including the "most-watched-never-aired" pilot on You Tube; Nikki and Nora (2004), she co-created and developed an original script for Sony Television and Barry Sonnenfeld with her Nikki and Nora (2004) show runner Nancylee Myatt (South of Nowhere (2005), 3Way (2008)) and co-star Liz Vassey (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000))

 He played David Carradine's son and crime fighting partner in Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1993), which debuted in 1993 and aired for four seasons, and starred as a hard-hitting police sergeant for three years in USA Network's Silk Stalkings (1991), for which he also served as an episode director. Some of his other credits include CBS's Open House (2003), Rush of Fear (2003), the ABC pilots The Big House (2001) and Astronauts (2002), Andromeda (2000), the USA Network television movie, The Waiting Game (2001), as the voice of Gambit in the Fox animated series X-Men (1992) and as a guest star on Will & Grace (1998) & Queer as Folk.
